The following is a brief biography on each of our employees:

Tom Santos-Branch Manager, Cell (951)312-6234, tsantos@afncorp.com:  Tom has been a Mortgage Banker since 1994, also the year he became licensed with the California Department of Real Estate.  Starting in 1994, he worked as a Loan Officer initially.  He became a Top Producer from 1995-current.  Along with this success, he was promoted to management at an early age.  Since 1997, he has remained in management, but has maintained his production.  Tom has maintained his ability to produce in up and down markets by being a master with his guidelines and affinity partners.  Many of his affinity partner relationships have lasted longer than a decade.

Some of Tom's accomplishments.  He attended Cal State Fullerton where he studied Biology.  He also attended and played college baseball at Cal State Los Angeles.  In regards to business, he received productions awards from American Home Loans from 1997-2000.  He later received "Retail Branch and Production of the Year" from his former company Trust One Mortgage Company for the years of 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2008.  Tom credits his success to great communication and maintaining a near 100% closing-ratio for all loans he has pre-approved.  He always finds a way to close the transaction.  He is versed in all of his program guidelines, was a certified underwriter from 2001-2006, literate in Spanish, and maintains himself as one of the best mortgage bankers in Southern California.  Tom is available during the week, after-hours, and on weekends.  

Tim Lougran-Senior Loan Officer, Cell (951)415-6921, tloughran@afncorp.com:  Tim has been a Full-Time Mortgage Banker since 1994, licensed by the California Department of Real Estate. He has specialized in residential mortgages, purchase money, and has become a fixture in the local area lending.  His 16+ years experience has allowed him to navigate thru evolving markets, both up and down.  He loves to pass this knowledge onto his borrowers and potential clients.  He has lived in Temecula since 1989.  His knowledge of our valley, the people that reside here, and the overall community makes him a great fit for American Financial Network, Inc., the Tom Santos Team, our potential clients, our cross-approvals, and our Builder/REO Business.  Tim is available during the week, after-hours, and on weekends. 

Jennifer Ortiz-Loan Coordinator, Cell (951)852-1150, jortiz@afncorp.com:  Jennifer has been in the financial industry since 1997.  She originally worked for First American Title learning the title and escrow processes.  Since 2000, she has worked for the Tom Santos Team as a Junior Processor, Assistant, and now Loan Coordinator.  Her job is extremly important due to her communication between the borrowers, escrow, title, corporate processors, and our corporate underwriters.  She facilitates a smooth escrow by making sure no stone is left unturned.
